Our Mission

This set of documents lays out the methodology and purpose  for the delivery of a local community regeneration project that incorporates a number of independent yet geographically and socially related community development ideas. 

·        A new community-learning center that will accommodate the existing Monteney Community Workshop and provide a future for a range of partner activities as well as scope for a broader and more relevant offer of Adult community based learning activities (on behalf of Monteney Community Workshop Ltd.) 

·        A pavilion for Colley Park (on behalf of Sheffield City Council and The Colley Park Community Group) 

·        An extension and refurbishment of the Remington Youth and Community Centre (on behalf of the Trustees of Remington Youth and Community Centre.) 

·        A refurbishment of Colley Neighbourhood Centre (on behalf of Parson Cross Community Development Forum.) 

·        Improve accessibility between the Neighbourhood shopping center, the Colley Park and Remington Centre (on behalf of Parson Cross Community development Forum) 

·        Assistance with the refurbishment, accessibility and modernisation of St Thomas More Parish Centre as a focus for elderly residents (on behalf of the Diocese of Hallam) 

·        Influence the style, relevance and quality of the proposed housing development on land currently owned by Sheffield College (on behalf of Parson Cross Community Development Forum) 

·        Assist in the maximization of capital return from the above land development while ensuring that any planning gain supports other community projects.  

·        Assist in influencing the Unitary Development Plan for the area, with particular emphasis on improved use of open space and higher quality recreational space.
